SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 THE FUTURISTIC SMART PHONES EVER

SAMSUNG GALAXY S8

Few years back in 2004 when Samsung introduced Note 4 Edge with a curved screen. It felt different compare to the smart phones at that time. The curved screen was alone a stand out feature, which probably indicated the future of Samsung Galaxy or Note devices in terms of its design. Samsung followed that curved design trend they introduced Samsung Galaxy S6. Later they perfected that curved glass display when they gave probably the best smart phone of year 2016 with the introduction of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Although Samsung Note 7 could have stolen that tittle if it wasn’t for the battery issue.

The year is 2017 and Samsung introduced Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are arguably the best looking phones of 2017 so far. For Samsung the pressure was on because the year 2016 ended pretty badly with the Note 7 fiasco for them, so 10 out 10 for Samsung for overcoming that and giving us the pinnacle of smartphone technology.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 both represent style and elegant. It is beautiful, fast with insanely good front and back camera on top of the one of the best  new 5.8” AMOLED displays in market a smart phone could ever had at the moment.

There might be some flaws but not major ones just like figure print scanner on the back, Bixby not being ready for launch and the battery; which early reports indicate is not as good as the previous Samsung devices. But these can be overcome with some software update as the device roll out worldwide.

THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 DESIGN

Samsung has transformed their devices from traditional plastic to a more sophisticated and classy glass and metal body. If you have to compare devices from past with the current Samsung Galaxy devices you can see the difference yourself. The Samsung Galaxy S8 gives us the indication of what company hold in account for future devices. The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a tag line Infinity Display. The display is unlike other current smart phones devices the main focus was not just curved display but to enhance the display size in the same device size.

Samsung managed to remove a lot of thing in the Samsung Galaxy S8 for example the switch to an 18.5:9, rather than sticking to old 16:8. This made the device a bit taller, compare to S7 but just enough to give you an impressively high screen to body ratio of 84%. Which is amazing compare to the Samsung Galaxy S, which had screen-to-body ratio was 72%.

The Galaxy S8 comes in various colours as well. Ranging from Coral Blue (blue), Maple Gold (gold), Midnight Black (black), Arctic Silver (grey) and Orchid Grey (light violet). All variants feature a black front, and to be honestly, they are all probably worth buying. The Samsung Galaxy S8 weigh only 155g, which is incredibly light compare to other smartphones. It feels good in hands too. The second thing is the placement of figure print scanner at the back, which may be a concern for some users but I guess muscle memory will come handy later on as you become familiar with the device. Another positive which Samsung has retained is the headphone jack; and majority of the user won’t think for a second that if it is a bad idea.

Samsung is known for making stunning devices and we feel like the Galaxy S8 is probably the best smartphone device out there in the market setting up a benchmark for its competitors to follow.

THERE ARE SIX SECURE WAYS TO UNLOCK THE S8:

  • Fingerprint

  • PIN

 The SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 SCREEN

We already talked about how Samsung not only made the best design phone of 2017 but they probably fitted the best display in a smartphone as well. The new aspect ratio of 18.5:9, rather than 16:9 is just amazing at first glance. You get more screen in terms of a 5.8 inch AMOLED and has a slightly odd quad-HD+ 2960 x 1440 resolution. The device is also ‘Mobile HDR Premium’ certified, which means that you can easily stream from your favour streaming store the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix when those apps are updated. Considering this we can say that the Samsung Galaxy S8 offers the best mobile entertainment compare to other smartphones in 2017.

In previous years Samsung device have always had a great looking displays installed, but our verdict is that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is in a class of its own. The device offers most true and enjoyable experience on a smartphone to date.

THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 PRICE AND FINAL THOUGHTS

Samsung has managed to outshine their previous work with the device like Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung Galaxy S8 represent the very pinnacle of design transformation.
